I serve the community of Idaho as a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a registered play therapist (RPT). I have been in private practice at Meridian Counseling Center since 2012 and an adjunct in the graduate counseling program at Northwest Nazarene University. I graduated from the University of North Texas in May of 2010 with a Masters in Counseling. My Bachelor’s degrees are in Human Relations and Art. While my emphasis is play therapy, I enjoy working with people of all ages. My training and experience also include: expressive arts, sandtray therapy, women’s issues, depression, stress with transitions, parent/child relationships, children with special needs, eating disorders, grief and loss. As a counselor I seek to come alongside you, offering a warm and non-judgmental environment. My goal as a counselor is to help you gain self-awareness that will help you improve your unique human experience. I believe that through the process of gaining self- awareness healing takes place. This is in line with my theoretical approach to counseling which is a combination of Adlerian and person-centered.
