Our pain and our struggles are all part of our unique life stories. All too often we suppress and hide the emotional parts of our story. Ignoring these emotions does not make them go away, but if fact, causes them to erupt in other unintended areas of our lives.

My goal as an Emotion-Focused and EMDR counselor, is to invite you to explore those buried emotions. Together, we will unravel what lies locked within your mind. Understanding fosters clarity, bridging the gap between your inner and outer worlds. While we cannot rewrite our pasts, we can infuse new meaning into our experiences, allowing our brains to place pain where it belongs—behind us.

When you come to therapy, you get to drop the pretenses, be vulnerable and explore the fears and feelings that worry you; feelings you cannot even reveal to the people you love. I see it as my role to listen and meet you where you are. I create a safe, peaceful space where you can drop the mask. Your stories, your needs, your darkest hours, and your brightest moments take center stage when you are in my office. I bring respect, kindness, and compassion so that you feel empowered to make changes in your life. As you get more comfortable talking to me, you will build skills that will enable you to be more compassionate to yourself and others.
